Coogle, John D. Sr.

John David Coogle, Sr. 67, of Yukon, OK passed away April 24, 2010. He was born May 18, 1942 in Carter Lake, IA to John David and Fern (Hennings) Coogle. He has been living in Yukon since 1988 coming from Omaha, NE. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Cuban crisis. He had worked 35 years with Lucent as an electrician. He enjoyed antique cars, was active in the VFW in Omaha and spending time with all his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Barbara of the home; son John Coogle and wife Jeanine of Omaha, NE; daughters, Teresa Cardenas and husband Anthony of Denver, CO, Julie Korff and husband John of Oklahoma City, OK; sisters Donna Gosch and husband Ed of Lincoln, NE, Connie Hiner of Rockwell City, IA; grandchildren Haley Korff, Nicholas Korff, Megan Evans, Jared Evans and wife Ashley; great grandchildren McKenleigh Evans and Holden Evans.

Services: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in the chapel of Smith & Turner Mortuary, Yukon, OK.

Memorials: The family is asking that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
